Tegawende Brice OUEDRAOGO is an economist from Burkina Faso, currently pursuing a Msc in development economics at the prestigious Center for Studies and Research on International Development (CERDI) and Clermont Auvergne University in France as an Eiffel Excellency scholar. Prior to joining the CERDI, he did his undergraduate studies in Hangzhou at 这家工商大学(Zhejiang Gongshang University) in China where he got a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors and won many times outstanding student award.During his journey in China , Tegawende Brice served as President of Students Union and served as the spoken-person of Burkinabe students in China . He is passionate about oriented policy research and impact-evaluations. Dedicated to work on poverty alleviation and fostering economic Growth, eradicating extreme poverty, and creating balance in global social inequality are the twofold drivers of his professional aspirations and career.

As a young economist, his interests include economics of climate change, fiscal and monetary policies, debt sustainability. He has a strong interest in the interaction between digital economy , Structural transformation and 4IR in developing countries in the face of environmental challenges , a topic which he worked on as a policy analyst intern at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna, Austria. Furthermore, he is fascinated by Global governance and international politics. As he aims to inspire more than one and stand different as an economist, he is ready to serve as a future global shaper in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and impact development in the global south. Tegawende Brice Ouedraogo plays Basketball and fluently speaks English, French and has intermediate knowledge in Chinese.
